Nha Trang, Han Hoa, Central Vietnam, is one of Vietnam's primary seaside resorts and scuba dive destinations. With a beautiful harbour, delicious Vietnamese cooking, pristine bays and picturesque beaches, it is a holiday destination by farang (foreign tourists) as well as locals. Sights worth visiting are Long Son Pagoda and its huge Buddha, Hon Chong Beach, Doc Let Beach and Po Nagar Cham Towers with its ruins. There are also plenty of water activities, fishing trips and even a dip in one of its hot spring is possible. The harbor of Nha Thrang, its many forest-covered hills and its clear sea makes this a beautiful holiday destinations.

Most scuba diving is done inside the Hon Mun Marine Park, reached after a 15 minutes speedboat ride or while sightseeing on a slower 45 minutes boat. Some of the better dive sites near Hon Mun Island are Moray Beach with its splendid coral gardens and the steep drop-offs at Green Canyon. Nearby you can find the smaller islands Hon Noc and Hon Mot (often used for night diving) and popular for snorkeling and shallower diving. Its vibrant nudibranches and with more than 350 different species of corals it is one of the most extensive coral biodiversity found in Asia. Nha Thrang's marine world with ghost pipefish, dragon fish, paperfish, frogfish and several other species is guaranteed to make diving here unforgettable. Don't expect to find manta rays and whale sharks; diving in Vietnam is muck diving with all its splendour and colors.
